US economy on the decline, says Clinton

Washington: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has admitted that the American economy is on the decline due to Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Talking to the media in Washington, she said that the US has spent a lot of resources in the last decade in Afghanistan and Iraq. Washington is standing on a crossroads regarding departure from Afghanistan, she added.

Clinton said Asia would be the central point in the world politics rather than Afghanistan and Iraq.

Washington would strengthen ties with China, India and Indonesia on priority basis, she said.
