Quetta: Government of Baluchistan – western province of Pakistan – Monday banned pillion riding with immediate effect due to raising sectarian killing in the province.
Baluchistan Home Ministry also imposed banned on displaying weapons under section 144. Notification in this regard will be issued soon.
The decision has been taken to stop escalating sectarian killing in Baluchistan.
Prime Minister Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani was also in Quetta – the provincial capital of Baluchistan.
