Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif while giving cognizance to the nation about the All Parties Conference (APC), has said that he raised question about the conditions on which the war on terror is being fought.
He told reporters that he raised the question as to why the fingers have been pointed to Pakistan despite the loss of 35000 lives of civilians and security personnel.
He said that had the recommendations given in 2009 been implemented the situation would not have turned deteriorated.
The former prime minister said that whether Raymond Davis episode and May 2 raid in Abbotabad had not violated the county’s sovereignty.
He said that joint agenda should be evolved to steer the country out of crises.
He said “he hopes that the government would form a committee to implement the recommendations of the APC”.
He said that government’s negligence towards Balochistan was deplorable, adding that the government should take steps to address the situation.
