Karachi: President and Prime Minister of Pakistan on late Thursday categorically rejected the allegations set by US Admiral Mike Mullen that Islamabad’s main intelligence agency ISI was behind attacks in Afghanistan and assisting Haqqani network.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani hold a meeting in Bilal House in Karachi and discussed several issues. They were briefed about the situation of floods in Sindh.
Both the leaders discussed the alarming flood situation in the southern province of Sindh and also discussed the strategy to overcome the situation. They also discussed law and order situation in the country especially in Karachi.
They also discussed about dengue fever in Punjab. Prime Minister Gilani also briefed President Zardari about his recent Afghanistan visit.
Earlier, Pakistan Foreign Office and Interior Minister Rehman Malik also denied that Pakistan is involve in any kind of attack in Afghanistan.
