To ISPR with love

Tring tring tring tring…

The door bell screamed like street hawker. I just woke up and opened the door. Khaqan Ali (My personal friend and professional rival) was standing outside in his casual outfits.

I welcomed him with a low mood, because he disturbed me from my favorite dream of getting a nine to five white collar job and becoming a high tech “Mazdoor” (labor) sigh **** (most of us cannot think higher than that so do I)

Anyways Khaaki (his self suggested nick name) came in and sarcastically said… Nation dreaming as usual and country is in mess.

This was classical headshot from him pointing out the clutter all over my room. Cigarettes… Ashtray… CDs and other usual male’s possessions.

“Yeah that’s what we the nation learned from the upper class… Mess and sleep… Sleep and mess…” I added rudely.

“Well I am here to share news with you” he continued ignoring my behavior (that’s his specialty) “and that’s what???”

Martial law, Revolution or are we now a declared American colony. I replied in same tone… “Oh common you can say it revolutionary”.

“Really what’s the news then?”

I asked

A serving major is terminated from army.

It’s no rumor that everyone will be treated equally, No more supremacy will be given to anybody. I can see silver lines reflecting from this decision we are about to cross the tunnel of lawlessness.”

Khaaki emotionally revealed for what he came “hmm so that’s why you seems so emotional and hopeful”

“Yes my dear… It is happened after a long time that a serving major is found involved in the theft of metal in huge amount probably zinc or bronze along with a railway carriage.

An institution investigated and found major gray (suspected) they sent letter to ISPR for what happened, ISPR replied back that anyone found in that will be treated accordingly.

Later on military investigations proved that Major Ayub was not gray only he actually committed that crime so they terminated him.

“So where is the revoultion part in the story?”

I questioned with anxiety.

He smiled and said calmly “You can find the answer in a question I am going to ask you”  (Huh…! Khaaki you suspense machine I thought)

“How many incidents from history you can quote in which a uniformed man is being punished for whatever wrong he does..?

“May this occurring seem unnoticeable but i do not think that I should be not given an ear to. Time is changing my dear. There is light at the end and we are near. We are almost out of the dense history filled with injustice and I really want to salute ISPR this time and that’s the end folks. I am honestly putting his question here to get answers from you.

Nation is no more sleeping; Country is no more in mess. I just turned and started cleaning my room. At least to put the share at the smallest level.
