Karachi: Rangers rounded up several suspects during a search operation in Sohrab Goth of Karachi here on Wednesday.
According to the media reports and The News Tribe’s correspondent from the area, the Rangers officials surrounded Al Asif Square and other nearby buildings early Wednesday morning and launched hunt for suspects.
Many suspected, including Afghan nationals and other foreigners, were arrested during the operation. A huge cache of weapons and drugs was also recovered from their possessions.
Women commandoes also accompanied Rangers’ men in the house-to-house search.
Several suspected persons were detained and shifted to undisclosed location for questioning.
