Islamabad: To assess losses, UN mission along with NDMA – National Disaster Management Authority – Chairman Zafar Iqbal Qadir Thursday visited flood hit areas in Sindh.
According to a spokesman of NDMA, the Chairman and other officials helped the UN mission’s members to understand the real magnitude of damages.
The chairman NDMA also met with officials of PDMA and other provincial officials, he informed. It is pertinent to mention that NDMA has also opened its offices district-wise in DCO offices in flood hit areas.
