Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that he wanted to hold local bodies election prior to general elections.
Talking to media in Islamabad, PM Gilani said that Rehman Malik had sent him a letter in which he requested to form a commission against the charges leveled by Zulfiqar Mirza.
Gilani said that Zulfiqar Mirza took a principle stand by resigning first from the party because leaders charges when they were in party.
Gilani said that federal and provincial governments would figure out the problem of load shedding and in this regard recommendations would be presented before the cabinet, adding that those charge the government for gas load shedding should use constitutional forum.
About rejoining of MQM in coalition government, Gilani said that it was up to them either they re-join or not.
He also said that Rehman Malik sent a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan to form a commission over the Karachi turmoil.
