Knadhkot: At least five people including three children were killed and dozens other injured as the roofs of houses and mosque collapsed in different parts of interior Sindh, the southern province of Pakistan, on Wednesday.
Four people including three children were killed in Karampur village of Kandhkot when roof of a house collapsed due to torrential rains.
While a man was killed in Umer Kot area of Interior Sindh.
At least six people were injured in a roof house collapse in in Shikarpur. Twenty people were injured while they were offering Eid prayers as the roof of an ancient mosque collapsed near Thatta.
The roof of the mosque located 35 Kilometers from Thatta became weak due to rains in the district. The injured were shifted to the civil hospital in Makli.
Rescue workers and a large number of residents gathered at the mosque to rescue people.
