Karachi: Muttahid Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced the condemnation and mourning day across the country against the targeting killings and taking extortion money from industrialists, traders, shopkeepers and market associations in Karachi reportedly by terrorist with the patronization of government ministers.
MQM’s deputy convener and parliamentary leader, Dr Farooq Sattar while speaking to press conference at party header quarter Nine Zero along with several significant party leaders, urged the people of Karachi to hoist the black flags on Tuesday to their homes.
Sattar said the terrorist had still made many people hostage whereas they killed more than 100 in just few days, adding the incidents of terrorisms had been still going on since August 18 in Karachi but MQM showed the tolerance against the terrorism of Peoples Aman Committee. He said the country’s economy was being destroyed.
He appealed the traders, industrialists and transporters to participate in the condemnation and condolence day, while government must express the commiseration to the bereaved families who were killed in target killings.
MQM leader said the five officials of water board was blood bathed in Garden area, as no one should consider Muhajir alone.
He condemned the incidents of setting seven people on fire in mini bus incident during a strike and the Chakra Goth incident and called to arrest the people involved in both the heinous incidents.
He demanded the government to end the government patronization of Peoples Aman Committee which is involved in terrorism and grabbing extortion money.
