Islamabad: Prime Minister Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Friday ordered to sack all cultural attaches posted abroad who showed bad performance.
According to media reports, speaking to artistes hailing from performing art, PM Gilani said that artistes could play a vital role in effecting a change in approach of terrorism.
Vowing to announce funds to boost performing art on August 14, he noted that television and film would be declared as an industry.
Replying to questions put up by artists, Gilani said load shedding was not a new issue, adding people who stuck to powers for nine years, did not generate even one megawatt of electricity in their respective terms.
He further added the present government incorporated 3000MW electricity to national power grid.
Urging TV channels to offer hope to people, the PM Gilani said people struck with pessimist news stories, quit watching television.
