Kurram Agency: More than 100,000 people have left their homes.
They were forced to leave their homes due to the ongoing operation in the tribal area of Kurram Agency.
Government official deputed for looking after the displaced persons from Kurram Agency, Sahibzada Anis has said that 9994 families have been registered that total to 100,000 people. He informed that 1800 families were living in camps while the rest were living with their relatives or at homes at rent.
He further said that these camps had been established in Schools and Colleges that had been closed due to the summer vacations. If the operation in Kurram agency continues, the government will extend the summer holidays.
The Pakistan army launched a massive operation in Kurram agency last month which is still going on.
