Islamabad: Chairman Muttahida Jihad Council, Syed Salah-ud-Din has said that the arrest of Ghulam Nabi Fai in America was ridiculous and a pre-planned move to exert pressure on Pakistan and to please India.
He expressed these views in a letter written to the media. He said that the conspiracy is par with putting salt on the wounds of Kashmiri people, which painted the wrong image of America among the freedom fighters.
Chairman Jihad Council said that Ghulam Nabi Fai had been working as international ambassador for Kashmir independence for the last many decades as he is taking up the case of Kashmir and disclosing the Indian brutalities globally.
“Pakistani leadership have taken some steps in the recent months against the US interference in Pakistan and American efforts to breach the integrity of Pakistan for which USA showed reaction and arrested Fai, which is highly deplorable. Attempts to declaring Fai ISI agent is abysmal act”, Salah-ud-Din added.
He said that America has never objected any activity of Fai in the past. As a matter of fact he is himself a movement. Fai is not the agent of ISI but he is just a liberty enthusiast leader.
