Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa (KPK) government has started its special training program for 75 officers to investigate acts of terrorism, police sources said.
After the failure of police in conducting effective investigations regarding acts of terrorism, KPK government had decided to form a specially trained, effective investigation team.
Following the directives of Peshawar High Court, 75 officers of sub-inspector to DSP categories would be given training in this regard.
In the first phase of the program, training to ten such officers would be imparted, and who would be posted to 25 various districts of the Province to carry out their tasks.
