Thatta: Pakistan tennis star and Unites Nations Development Programme’s Goodwill Ambassador on Friday announced US$10,000 for flood victims.
Pakistan’s top seed Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi visited the flood affected area of Thatta and passed few hours with the affected families.
During his visit he commingled with the people were affected by the severe flood that hit Pakistan’s largest areas.
On the occasion, Qureshi said that he was deeply resilience and self-help sprit of the community. He said he was delighted to be here and see the joy returning to the peoples’ faces.
He also said that he would continue his relief programme for the early recovery of the flood victims.
