Karachi: After the assurance given by Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan to resolve KESC employees’ issues within 96 hours, the workers of KESC union decided to suspend their sit-in that continued for past three months.
Earlier, KESC labour union leaders called on Governor Sindh and informed their reservations and demands.
During the meeting, Dr Khan while appealing to the union to suspend its protest till June 25 said that he would try to resolve the problems within four days.
Governor Sindh further said that employees would have reserve the rights to protest if their problems were not resolved till June 25.
