Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has announced subsidy on food items at utility stores during the month of Ramazan.
The decision was taken at the ECC meeting chaired by Pakistan’s Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh to review the food items prices during Ramazan. The committee approved subsidy ranging from Rs 4 to Rs 40 on different prices at utility stores.
The committee approved subsidy of Rs 4/kg on flour, Rs 15/kg on ghee and oil, Rs 10/kg on dates and pulses.
Now flour will be available at Rs 22.50/kg, ghee and oil at Rs 147/kg and milk pack at Rs 70/liter at utility stores.
