Karachi: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has said that deployment of Rangers in areas of Karachi was a provincial matter and the paramilitary force was sent in violence torn Orangi Town on his orders.
He was talking to media here on Saturday.Commenting on the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar’s media statement who had claimed that Rangers were sent in Orangi Town after Altaf Hussain contacted ISI chief Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha, Wasan said that he and Interior Minister Rehman Malik made efforts in bringing peace in affected areas.
