Karachi: Interior ministry of Sindh on Friday lifted ban on pillion riding in Karachi.
According to reports the decision has been taken after a meeting of Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan and IG Police Wajid Durrani. Sources said that a notification in this regard would be issued soon.
The government had imposed ban on pillion riding following a spate of target killing in the metropolis that killed over hundred people last week. Most of the people were gunned down in Orangi Town areas of Qasba Colony and Katti Pahari.
