Islamabad: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has summoned separate sessions of National Assembly (NA) and Senate on July 21.
Official sources said that President Zardari called NA and Senate sessions under clause 3 of article 54 of the constitution.
The sessions have been summoned on the requisition of opposition parties and agenda of opposition parties will come under discussion in the sessions. The agenda items to be debated include rampant inflation, target killings in Karachi, deteriorating law and order situation in the country, drone attacks and other matters.
NA and senate sessions will commence from 1700 hrs (local time) on July 21 and they are likely to continue for 3 days. Notification for summoning sessions have also been issued.
