Quetta: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that statements of some United States officials is cause of concern for Pakistan.Speaking to media after cabinet meeting held here on Wednesday the prime minister said Pakistan wanted bilateral relations withe the US based on mutual respect.
He said that Pakistan should be included in the reconciliation process in Afghanistan and the war torn country should not be left to suffer alone as it was done 30 years back. “3.5Â million Afghan refugees have been suffering in Pakistani camps since then”. he added.
Replying a query Gilani said that reservation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) would be addressed.
Talking about Balochistan issue he said the cabinet also discussed issues relating missing persons and Aaghaz-e-Hooq-e-Balochistan.
The prime minister added that Balochistan package would be fully implemented.
The premier said a commission had been set up to oversee missing person issue.
