Islamabad: The Abbottabad Commission, formed to investigate US raid in Abbottabad in which Al-Qaeda Chief Osama bin Laden was killed, will be holding its first formal meeting today.
The commission is headed by Justice Javed Iqbal while former IG Abbas Khan, ex-chairman NDMA lieutenant General (retd) Nadeem Ahmed and former diplomat Ashraf Jangir Qazi are its members.
The commission in its preliminary meeting on July 05 had directed Interior Ministry and ISI not to repatriate Osama bin Laden family without its consent.
People have been urged to come up with all the information they may have regarding the Abbottabad raid to cabinet secretariat by July 31. The commission has assured that the names of the informers will not be disclosed.
