Kabul: Three more US-led foreign troops have been killed, reaching the death toll to seven within 24-hour.
NATO said that two of its servicemen were killed in a bomb and a militant attack in the south, while a third soldier was killed in the east on Sunday. The US-led military alliance did not release the nationalities of the deceased soldiers.
On Saturday, four foreign soldiers, including two Americans, were killed in separate attacks. The two US soldiers were killed in a shooting by an Afghan guard.
The latest deaths bring to at least to 293 the foreign military fatalities in Afghanistan so far this year.
According to official figures, more than 2,574 foreign soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan since the US-led invasion of the country in 2001.
The developments come as the security situation continues to deteriorate in Afghanistan with US-led forces killed by Taliban militants on a near-daily basis.
Western public opinion is growing increasingly tired of the war and the mounting casualties.
