Karachi: Karachi wore a deserted look as gory incidents of targeted killings continued unabated, bringing the death toll to 85 with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement observing mourning day against worsening law and order situation here on Friday.
The MQM has cancelled its protest rally from the Karachi Press Club (KPC) to Chief Minister House (CM) in protest against the target killing.
Petrol pumps, markets are close while the public transport is not available across the city.
Earlier on Thursday The MQM announced to mourn the killing of innocent people by terrorists and to hold rally from the KPC to the CM house.
The Coordination Committee of the MQM has deplored and strongly condemned the acts of wanton terrorism by armed terrorists killing and injuring the Urdu-speaking people after stopping passenger buses and ascertaining their identity.
