Karachi: A man was killed and at least 20 people were injured in a hand grenade blast in Karachi, the southern province of Pakistan, late on Monday.
According to local sources the hand grenade was hurled at a tea hotel in Chakiwara No 2 of Liyari.
The injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
According to local police, the cause of the blast was yet to be ascertained. The identities of the of the victims were not immediately released.
The police have cordoned off the area and started investigation.
