Islamabad: Pakistan on Friday said that that Pakistani and US teams would carry out joint operations and share intelligence in the campaign against militants.
Foreign Office spokesman said that Pakistan and US will carry out joint operation against militants.
The announcement suggests the United States and Pakistan are having some success in trying to repair ties following the unilateral American raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
Spokeswoman Tehmina Janjua said the teams will share intelligence but that it doesn’t necessarily mean US troops would be allowed on Pakistani soil.
