Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday cancelled central contract of former captain Shahid Khan Afridi who announced retirement from international cricket on late Monday night, expressing disappointment over the PCB attitude.
According to PCB statement, Afridi denied playing under recent cricket board headed by Aijaz Butt. All Non-Objection Certificates (NOCs) issued to Afridi has been cancelled.
PCB has also stopped all remaining payment of Afridi, and asked to submit answer of show cause notice within seven days.
