According to the correspondent of The News Tribe, criminal elements at the Mehmodabad area of the metropolis, opened fire on law enforcement personals, while they were besieging the area.
Reportedly a notorious criminal involved in criminal activities was shot dead as a result of retaliation by Rangers personnel. Initially at least six suspects were arrested during the door to door search operation.
The search operations have been launched after three deadly attacks on the buses of Pakistan Navy. However the Rangers officials did not issue any details about the reasons behind the operation.
According to a spokesman of the Rangers conformed that four people were arrested under the allegations of relations to the banned outfits.
It is pertinent to mention here that international terrorist organization “Jindullah” and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan TTP were being recognized behind the terrorist attacks. A high profile officer of Home Department said while requesting anonymity that involvement of elements from abroad could not be neglected in the case because of newly introduced particular style of attacks.
