Bridgetown, Barbados: Pakistan won the five match series by defeating West Indies in the third one day international by three wickets at Kensington Oval cricket stadium in Bridgetown Barbados on Thursday.
Misbah-ul-Haq scored 62 runs not out while Hammad Azam scored 36 runs. Kamran Akmal scored 30 runs and Wahab Riaz scored 17 runs not out while skipper Shahid Afridi scored 11 runs. Pakistan chased the total in the 41st over for the lost of seven wickets.
Ravi Rampaul grabbed four wickets while Devendra Bishoo got three wickets.
Earlier, Pakistani captain Shahid Khan Afridi won the toss and chose to field.
West Indies scored 171 runs all out in 44th over. Lendi Simmons scored 51 runs while Darren Bravo scored 47 runs. Marlon Samuels and Krik Edward shared 18 runs each while Dwayne Bravo scored 11 runs.
Wahab Riaz and Saeed Ajmal picked up three wickets each while Mohammad Hafeez and Junaid Khan got two and one wicket respectively.
Misba-ul-Haq was declared man of the match owing to his good batting performance.
It is worth mentioning here that West Indies has not won any series against Pakistan over the past 20 years.
