Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ishaq Dar on Wednesday resigned from Deputy Chairmanship of the Implementation Commission of the 18th Constitutional Amendment Committee, said a press statement.
Ishaq Dar wrote a five-page letter to Prime Minister Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in which he expressed grave reservations over implementation of the 18th Constitutional Amendment.
According to the letter, PML-N had reservations over the sharing of resources to provinces, Higher Education Commission (HEC) and transfer of federal employees to the provinces.
Dar mentioned in the letter that it was decided that all the decision would be taken after consensus but was not happening.
