Islamabad: Pakistan successfully test-fired a short range ballistic missile, having ability to carry nuclear war heads, said a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) here on Tuesday.
The statement noted that the missile Nasr , the ninth of “Hatf” missiles series, can hit surface to surface target at 60 kilometers, adding that the test was aimed at enhancing scope of country’s strategic interests.
The missiles was fired from an unknown place that hit the target successfully.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani felicitated the scientists and engineers on successful missile test .
