Kerala: Indian Defense Minister has said that India believes improvement in ties with neighboring nations, including Pakistan and China, could be brought by solving disputes through talks.
A K Anthony said “Our ambition is to improve relations with neighboring countries, including Pakistan and Pakistan. Any disputes can be sorted out through mutual discussions to improve relations with these two countries.”
He said the March 30 meeting between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani on the sidelines of the India-Pakistan World Cup 2011 semifinal at Mohali would not only improve Indo-Pak relations but was also a good sign of beginning ties between both the countries.
