New Dehli: Indian pacer Ashish Nehra has been ruled out of the cricket World Cup final because of sustaining finger injury.
According to media reports, Nehra sustained finger injury during semifinal against Pakistan at Punjab Association Cricket Stadium, Mohali on Wednesday. He sustained the injury while trying to catch ball hit by Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi, media reports say.
He will have to get his finger operated and is likely to miss a few a weeks of the Indian Premier League too which starts on April 8.
India play Sri Lanka in the World Cup final on Saturday in Mumbai.
