After Iraq and Afghanistan, now Libya has fallen prey to the colonial and expansionist designs of the US and it allies. But primarily Libyan President Gaddafi should be blamed for the invasion.
The invading powers pretend to be sympathizers of the Libyan people against their tyrant ruler, but actually they are not what they are pretending to be.
International affairs experts say that ‘black gold’ is the main cause of the invasion not the Libyan people. The US policy in Middle East has been centered around two factors: oil and protection of Israel’s interests in the region.
The US and its allies trying to befool the international community, pretending themselves to be champion of democracy and human rights. But the fact is otherwise. Mubarak of Egypt, Bin Ali of Tunisia and other tyrants were in power and many of them continue to hold reins with the backing of West especially US.
The despots remained in power for decades with US pats and these champion of democracy and human rights did not raised any objections over gross human rights violations by these despots to protect and prolong their rules. Now, when there is awakening among the masses of the Middle East and they have stood up against the despots and US puppets, the US and it allies have step in to manage the control the wave of change. These powers have nothing to do with the welfare and rights of the people but are only concerned with their interests. Now when their interests are at stake, they have jumped into the fray just to protect their interests and nothing else.
