Islamabad: Opposition Leader in National Assembly of Pakistan Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan rejected the proposal of appointing Deedar Hussain Shah as Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
He said this in an answering letter to President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday. He said that Supreme Court of Pakistan has already declared the appointment of Deedar Shah illegal and unconstitutional.
Opposition leader from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) said he had been declared Shah appointment as chairman NAB illegal on September 24, 2010.
He said president should wait for detail report of the apex court before sending another proposal of Shah appointment.
Khan said Pakistan People’s Party Sindh held protest demonstration against the court decision. He said the protests showed anti-democratic and anti-judiciary sentiments. He said consultation does not mean just inform.
