Karachi: At least 11 people were killed and several injured in the latest spree of target killing in Karachi,port city of Pakistan, home to at least 20 million people , on Saturday.
Firing and arson attacks erupted in the metropolis following the killing of two brothers of Muddassir alias Chief,who was arrested by police in January for his alleged involvement in target killing.
Police sources said that three vehicles were set on fire after unknown assailants set an office of Peoples Amn Committee on fire in the Kharadar police limits.
Panic gripped various parts of the city as unknown people resorted to indiscriminate firing.
A huge gridlock was witnessed in Tower as a large number of people tried to reach their houses in haste.
