Hyderabad/Multan: Three men lost their lives in Pakistan on Wednesday while resisting robberies.
A shopkeeper and his employee were shot at Multan Road, Lahore, when they resisted a robbery attempt. The employee died on the spot while the shopkeeper succumbed to injuries in hospital. The four robbers managed to flee as police failed to reach the scene on time despite being informed by the area people.
A young man was shot dead by robbers in Hyderabad when he resisted their attempt to take his motorbike away. They had already robbed him of his cellphone and cash.
Street robberies are very common in Karachi and Hyderabad.
The two cities are dominated by Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
