Islamabad: The Senate of Pakistan passed the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Amendment Bill 2010 as passed by the National Assembly with consensus.
The Bill in this regard was presented before the House by the Advisor to the Prime Minister Ghazanfar Ali Gul.
Leader of the House Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari introduced the Elections Laws Amendment Bill 2011 before the Senate which is aimed at bringing further changes in certain election laws to ensure transparency and independence in the general elections.
