Lahore: The parents of senior judge of Pakistan’s Supreme Court Justice Javed Iqbal were laid to rest at Firdous Market graveyard here on Wednesday.
Earlier, their funeral prayers were offered, which was attended by a large number of people from all walks of life, including Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry , Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, newly-appointed Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa,  PML-N leader Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, PPP Secretary General Jahangir Badar,  former Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami  Qazi Hussain Ahmed and members of legal fraternity.
Meanwhile, the lawyer community boycotted court proceeding s across the country in protest against the brutal killings.
