Bannu: At least 20 people including police and FC officials were killed and over 16 injured, when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into Mirian Police Station in Bannu, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
Soon after the blast security forces and other law enforcement agencies personnel rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.
The blast completely destroyed the building of the police station.
The district administration has declared emergency in the district headquarter hospital and injured were shifted to hospitals. Edhi sources said that at least 16 injured were brought to Civil Hospital, Bannu.
