ISLAMABAD: Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Shrif, has said that the agenda given to the government is in the larger interest of the masses of Pakistan and we just see Pakistan stable.
He was speaking in a local TV programme on Friday. He said we have given a national agenda and now the ball is in the court of ruling Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) that they would accept or reject the agenda, but if the government would reject the agenda then PML-N would compelled to say good-bye PPP from Punjab.
Nawaz said PML-N would approach masses if present government does not address their problems. He said we never demanded nor demanding any ministry and portfolio in the government.
He said PML-N knows very well that national consensus is in Pakistan’s fever. He said President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari had insisted PML-N to rejoin coalition government, but our party rejected the invitation.
PML-L leader said they are not going to make ally with any party for election. He said politics of opposition and coalition should be ended in the national interest.
He said a number of problems of the masses could be resolved if the government fulfill the national demands. He said we are committed with our stand of deadline and act on the agenda would be started from Tuesday.
