GAZA: Israeli war-planes carried out three air strikes on the Gaza Strip, but no casualty has been reported yet.
Two air strikes targeted a tunnel in the east of Gaza City while the third one hit Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip. Israel has not commented on the air strikes so far.
Israel has been frequently targeting the Gaza Strip since the enclave launched in late Dec 2008 in which over 1,400 Palestinians were killed and left a loss of over $1.6 billion.
Israeli military claimed that Palestinian militants use these places for storing and smuggling weapons.
Palestinians categorically denied the allegations and said Israeli air strikes targeted the tunnel, used to restore the basic needs of the impoverished Gazans because the territory has been sealed by an Israeli blockade for more than three years.
