North Waziristan: At least 15 people have been killed in three drone strikes in North Waziristan, the tribal area of Pakistan, sources said.
First incident took place in Miran Shah Tal Road area, the tribal area of Pakistan, near Pak-Afghanistan border. When US unmanned drone targetted a car and killed at least eight people and injured.
In the second incident the US dorne fired two missiles on a house in the village Ghaur Basti of the district Mir Ali. Two people were killed in the incident.
Third drone also targeted a house in North Waziristan area. Three people were reported to have been killed, sources said.
Officials have confirmed only four causalities so far. The identity of the victims are yet to be ascertained.
It is pertinent to mention that at least eight people were also killed on the last day of the year 2010. Al least 23 people have been killed within last 24 hours.
