London: British House of Commons has announced giving international award to Pakistan interim Interior Minister Malik Habib for ensuring smooth and peaceful polls in the country.
Pakistan has gone through a countrywide electoral process last month, amid fears of threats of terrorism and lawlessness. Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz emerged as the leading party in the polls.
However, parties participating in port city of Karachi have complained a highjacked voting process where no security measures were not taken to stop the whole process.
